My name is Brittany. But, you can call me Brit. I’d like to think of myself as a “go with the flow” kind of gal, but I also always have a plan. Who says you can’t have your cake and eat it, too?
I was born and raised in a small town in Ohio (no mountains in sight) and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communication at Ball State University. After graduation, I moved to Elkhart, Indiana, the RV capital of the world, and fell in love with the outdoors, nature, and adventure. I started my greatest adventure in June of 2020 when I married my best friend, John. Our wedding was intimate and beautiful and a perfectly imperfect day (see the photos above for some of our most
recent adventures).
My passion for nature and background in the visual arts led me to who I am and what I do today: an adventure elopement photographer. I thrive in the planning stages leading up to weddings and take so much pride in being a part of the happiest day in couples’ lives. The reactions when my clients receive their photos are more rewarding to me than I’ll ever be able to put into words. And that’s how I lead my business: I strive to capture and deliver the moments that take your breath away.

I like to say I’m an advocate for the Earth because I love being outdoors so much. One of my core principles when using public land (national parks, state parks, forests, etc.) is to always leave the site exactly how I found it, if not better. That’s why I got my certification as a “Leave No Trace Aware Photographer” in 2020, pledging to care about the environment and protect our big, beautiful planet.

Congrats! You’re married! Whether you’re celebrating your honeymoon or settling into married life, I’ll be working on editing photos from your perfect day so you can share those memories with friends and family and look back on the start of your adventure for years to come. You can expect 6-7-week typical turnaround time depending on the package you choose and time of year. Your photos will be delivered in an online gallery and you'll be able to favorite, download, and share your photos wherever and with whomever you'd like.

All the time! I love to travel. I currently live in Elkhart, Indiana, but have family in Van Wert and Delphos, Ohio, so I go back and forth often. We can go anywhere in Michigan, Indiana, or western Ohio for your sessions at no additional cost. Let's explore a new place together!
Do you travel?
A lot of studios use a watermark and force you to print albums through them - I'm not a big fan of that route. I do offer prints and albums, where I can guarantee the best quality. But, I prefer you have the freedom to do what you want with your photos.
Do I have to get my prints and albums through you?
